Do you want to print just a portion of a web page or document?

You're visiting an interesting web site and want to print some of the information in it so you click on your print icon. That was pretty easy except your printer is now spitting out dozens of pages.

So how do you print only what you want from a document, email message or web page?

1. First, select the area you would like to print:

2. Next, from the FILE MENU, select PRINT.

3. When the printer dialog box comes up, look for the SELECTION button in the "Print Range" frame:

(Note: not all printers or software will support this feature)

4. Click PRINT

Here's one last tip:

If you can't print a selection, you can always copy and paste the stuff you want into a word processor and print it from there. It's not as quick but it's better than printing out ten pages of junk just to get a small section of text.
