You can help. If you know of any suspicious, exaggerated, or fraudulent claims or you witness an accident, call our Tip Line any time at:

THE FRAUD TIP LINE

In the Lower Mainland: 661-6844

Outside the Lower Mainland: 1-800-661-6844

Our investigators are looking for information on suspicious claims to help control the cost of your insurance premiums.

Your tips can help ICBC to:
  • deny fraudulent claims
  • recover money paid to fraudulent claimants
Read how ICBC is organized to make your tip a success story — and how ICBC's Fraud Prevention and Investigations Department conducted 3300 investigations in 2005, resulting in 175 Criminal charges laid against 94 individuals and saving B.C. policyholders more than $73 million.

Reports are confidential

ICBC's Tip Line was launched in October 1992, and is now averaging more than 850 fraud-related calls every month. Callers earn no direct cash rewards. They do earn the satisfaction of knowing that by working with ICBC to combat insurance fraud, they help everyone win.
Tip information is confidential and callers can remain anonymous.
